  1. I think that living funerals can tend to be less engaging because there not really dead so its not the same effect as going to a real funeral and morning the loved one you have lost.

  2. I think that the living funeral is interesting but its also different. I think that its interesting because part of me feels like it would be easier to accept his death when it actually happens but it might be different for others. I think the idea of a living funeral is also kind of different because your celebrating the life of someone that it still alive. I also find it different because what if he ends up not passing and stay alive for awhile after. I think there would be pros and cons to having a living funeral.

  3. My opinion about the living funeral is that it is unique. I also think that this is a way that him and his loved ones can also bond a little bit more before he dies. I feel that it would also be interesting to know what people may think of you before you die. I personally feel like I would want to know what people think about me and what they would say at my funeral.

  4. I think it's a smart idea because some people would like to know what their friends and family are going to say about you after you pass. I also think it helps others take in the fact that you are dying and don't have enough time to say goodbye to the people you love.

  5. I thought that it was a very interesting choice. I have never heard of a living funeral, and I thought that it was odd. I think that something like that fits morries charecter though. It seems like he is the kind of person to do a living funeral based on how outgoing and how caring he is that he would care about others inputs. I feel like it would just be very sad to hear how much people love you and knowing that you'll be passing on and leaving all of them.

  6. Personally I thought it was something quite different. I say this for many different reasons. Some of the main reasons are living funerals are not normal and they only happen to very few people. I think that to these people it had to be very weird because they had to read off what they would say about him in front of him while he is alive. I personally think that he did this because he wanted his death upon them to be a little easier for them so they didn't take it as hard when he really dies.

  9. I think Morrie having a living funeral can help him and all the ones close to him. He can hear what others have to say and what they think of him before he dies. Everyone else will have the chance to respect that his death will be coming at some point and they might be able to take it a little better. They all had the chance to let out their feelings and memories they have with Morrie and that can help them all with the sadness that will come.

  10. I would injoy a living funeral, okay maybe not so much injoy, but would like it. I could see what people have liked about me see what they will miss. Knowing that I have made a diffrents in peoples life would make it all worth it. I don ́t know if I would injoy a living funeral, but I would have plenty of things to talk about for other people. Dieing happy and know you have made a diffrents in the world would be the things to say ̈I have lived a good life, it is my time to go. ̈

  11. I think that the living funeral is weird idea because I wouldn't know what to do or say showing up to my family member living funeral. Having a living funeral for yourself i think has its pros and cons. The pros could be you get to make memory's one last time with the person. The cons are that you are planning on dying.

  12. I think it's neat that Morrie is having a living funeral but if it were me I would not like it. I would not like it because I would not want to have a day with all my friends and family where they celebrate my death coming up. If I was about to die I would want to do as much possible to not remind myself that i'll be passing away soon. I feel if I was to have this it would just be one big reminder that i'll be dying soon and leaving all of the people who would come to my living funeral. I think there may be other people who would like to do this but i'm not a fan of this activity.

  13. I think that a living funeral is a great idea. One reason being that Morrie was able to hear all of the things that his friends and family had left unsaid. Another reason why I think that living funerals are a good idea is so that they can celebrate his life instead of mourn his death forever. The final reason why I think that living funerals are a good idea is so that no one has any regrets and so that Morrie can spend time with those close to him before he dies.

  14. I think it's odd how Morrie had a "living funeral". Although I do partly understand why they decided to have the "living funeral". It would be nice to talk to people who I haven't seen in forever and tell people things I wish to tell them and things I never got to. However, if it were my "living funeral" it would just make my death seem so much closer and truer than what I'd be willing to comprehend. Or maybe not, depending on what you could be dying of, maybe having a "living funeral" will bring you and the people around you closure. Personally, I try to not think about death.

  15. Personally, I think that the "living funeral" is different. I have never heard of anyone doing that before. I think that it was a good thing that they did for Morrie. I think it helped everyone with the idea of Morrie dying.

  16. I think its a unique thing that Morrie wanted a living funeral. Its like the last goodbye, seeing each other for the last time. I feel like its a better way to be prepare for what́́ever happens. Death could be sudden, you never know. Sometimes it would be to late to say goodbye. By having a living funeral its like a last reunion saying nice things and having a last memory of happiness.

  18. I think that the concept of a living funeral has several aspects that make it better than a traditional funeral. At a living funeral you are more inclined to celebrate the persons life than mourn their death. I think this helps prepare the people connected to the soon to be dead and takes away some of the pain felt after death. It is a good way for the dying to go out on their terms and can show the effect they had during their time on Earth. The one issue I have with this type of funeral is that it can seem like the death is being brought quicker to ease the burden on everyone else.

  19. I think the living funeral is a little different because I've never saw one before. I can also see how its a god thing because then it can spend more time with friends and family. When the time comes his friends and family will be ready for it and will expect it come instead of it just coming out of no where. Personally I think it could be a bad idea to have one because there might be some people that will act like your friend now that your die but before they didn't want anything to do with you.

  20. I don't really like the idea of a living funeral. I think it would make dying even sadder. I do understand why he wants to have a living funeral though. I think that since he was really sick and people were saying all the nice things about him that made him happy before he passed. Overall I don't like the idea of a living funeral because I feel like it would make things a lot harder when he actually died.

  21. I like the idea of Morries living funeral. why wait and say all of the things that need to be said till the funeral. the living funeral is to let everyone close to Morrie say what they need/want to say to him while he is still alive. this is a great way to remember a loved one .

  22. I think the idea of a living funeral is both smart and morbid. It is smart because people get to say their last good byes and they get to spend his last days with him. But it is also very morbid because after it just leaves the person the funeral was for alone counting their days.
